Clinician Consultation: OCD, Anxiety, & PANS/PANDAS
Sometimes the challenge isn’t knowing that something is wrong. It’s knowing what to do next.
When the stakes feel too high to guess, consultation can help.
You may be working with a child who developed severe OCD seemingly overnight. A teen whose anxiety isn’t responding to traditional interventions. A family trapped in a cycle of reassurance-seeking and accommodations. Or a client whose symptoms don’t quite fit the diagnostic frameworks you’ve been taught.
Most therapists receive very little formal training in OCD, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), ARFID, family accommodation, school refusal, or neuroimmune-related mental health presentations. Yet these are often the exact cases that show up in our offices.
Consultation doesn’t always mean referring your client elsewhere. In many cases, you’ve already built a strong therapeutic relationship, and that relationship is incredibly valuable. Sometimes the best next step isn’t transferring care—it’s bringing in a specialist to help you think through the case, strengthen your conceptualization, and develop a treatment plan that allows you to continue providing excellent care.
I view consultation as a collaborative process. My role is to help expand your clinical toolbox, increase your confidence, and support you in serving the families already sitting in your office. When additional specialty care or referral is warranted, we’ll discuss that together. But often, consultation provides the knowledge, resources, and support needed to help you move forward with greater clarity while preserving the therapeutic relationship you’ve worked hard to build.
About Me

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with more than 16 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. My practice specializes in OCD, anxiety disorders, phobias, panic, PANS/PANDAS< ARFID, and complex pediatric mental health presentations.
My clinical work is grounded in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), family-based interventions, and Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE). I am a professional member of the International OCD Foundation and have completed specialized training in the treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders.
In addition to providing therapy, I train clinicians, schools, agencies, and multidisciplinary teams on OCD, anxiety, differential diagnosis, and neuroimmune-related mental health presentations, including suspected PANS/PANDAS.
I am also a member of Mind Global Council, a group of clinicians and researchers dedicated to improving psychotherapeutic care for children with neuroimmune disorders and closing gaps in access to informed mental health treatment.
My consultation style is practical, collaborative, and case-focused. My priority is helping you leave the consultation with actionable next steps you can immediately apply in your work.

My goal is simple: to help you feel more confident, more effective, and better equipped to support the families sitting across from you.
Consultations are individualized to your questions and clinical needs. You’re welcome to bring a single case, multiple cases, treatment planning questions, or broader concerns about OCD, anxiety, ARFID, school refusal, family accommodation, or suspected PANS/PANDAS.

Looking for PANS/PANDAS-Specific Education?
While much of my consultation work focuses on OCD, anxiety disorders, and related conditions more broadly, I also offer specialized education and consultation for families and professionals navigating PANS/PANDAS and other neuroimmune-related mental health presentations.
Because these conditions exist at the intersection of medicine and mental health, many clinicians and families find themselves trying to piece together information from dozens of different sources. My goal is to provide a research-informed, balanced overview that helps bridge that gap while remaining firmly within the scope of evidence-based mental health practice.
If you’re looking to build a strong foundational understanding before scheduling a consultation—or simply prefer to learn at your own pace—my on-demand webinar is a great place to start.
